Returns Policy

Return Period

Our return policy extends for 30 days from the date of delivery. After this period has elapsed, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges. This ensures that all returned items maintain their quality and can be properly assessed.

Eligible Returns

We accept returns on products that:

• Were shipped by Genius Whale Books
• Are in their original condition
• Show no signs of wear or damage
• Include the original receipt or proof of purchase
• Are returned within the 30-day period

Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, certain items cannot be returned:

• Books with obvious signs of use or damage
• Special order items
• Digital products and eBooks
• Gift cards
• Items marked as "Final Sale"

Return Process

1. Contact our customer service team at ask@geniuswhale.com to initiate your return
2. Include your order number and reason for return
3. Wait for our confirmation and return shipping instructions
4. Package the item(s) securely with all original materials
5. Ship to our return address: 265 Pritchard Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2W 2J2

Refund Process

Once we receive your return:

• We will inspect the item(s) within 2 business days
• You will receive an email confirming receipt and inspection status
• Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method
• Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days

Please Note: Shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping costs must be covered by the customer unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item:

• Contact us at ask@geniuswhale.com before sending the item back
• Ensure the desired replacement is in stock
• Follow the same return process as outlined above
• Include a note specifying the exchange item

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

• Contact us within 48 hours of receipt
• Provide photos of any damage
• We will cover return shipping costs
• A replacement will be shipped once we receive the returned item
